Directions to Oxbow

From Chicago: Take 94 through Indiana and into Michigan just past Benton Harbor, exit 94 and take 196 North (to Grand Rapids and Holland). Follow this for 36 miles to the Douglas Saugatuck exit, #36. Exit a hard right merging with the Blue Star Highway (heading North to Center Street). There is a stoplight here. Turn west (left). At the first cross street, Ferry Street, turn north (right). You will see a golf course on the northwest corner of the intersection. Continue north, passing the road to the city beach (Lincoln). The road (now called Park Street) becomes unpaved before reaching Ox-Bow. Park Street becomes the driveway to Ox-Bow. Follow signs to the public parking lot.

From Grand Rapids: Take 196 West to the Saugatuck Douglas exit, #38. Turn right off the exit onto the Blue Star Highway. Take the Blue Star Highway (south) to the first stop light and turn right onto Center Street. At the first 4-way stop turn right onto Ferry Street. Take this road for about two miles until it becomes Ox-Bow’s driveway. (Note that Ferry Street will turn into Park Street after the Lincoln intersection). Follow signs to the public parking lot.

From Detroit: Take 94 west to Kalamazoo and get on 131 north to Grand Rapids. Go about 13 miles on 131 then get off at the Otsego exit towards Allegan. The road is M-89, head west. Just as you go through Allegan, M-89 will split from M-40 as a left turn. Stay on M-89 through Fennville until you reach the Blue Star Highway. Turn right onto the Blue Star Highway and follow it for about five miles until you reach the stop light at Center Street. Turn left. At the first 4-way stop, turn right onto Ferry Street. Take this road for about two miles until it becomes Ox-Bow’s driveway. (Note that Ferry Street will turn into Park Street after the Lincoln intersection). Follow signs to the public parking lot.
